Old New York city. The Dutch were first “Nieuw Amsterdam” at 1614. Then the English renamed in New York at 1664 /1674. But there are still old Dutch names in New York, such as: Harlem (Haarlem), Brooklyn (Breukelen), Staten Island (Staten eiland) Wall street (Wal straat) and Nassau (Dutch Royals name).
